Geoffrey P. Anderson joined Sweetbaum Sands Anderson PC as a Shareholder in January, 2011 and continues to practice in the areas of real estate and commercial litigation and real estate transactions representing individuals, and companies both large and small. Mr. Anderson has extensive experience in complex civil litigation including commercial contracts, real estate title matters, quiet title actions, title insurance (including defense of bad faith claims), construction defect and mechanics’ lien litigation, mined land reclamation issues and enforcement of security interests. He has developed a particular emphasis and expertise in the areas of road and access law Mr. Anderson has represented clients on appellate matters before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, the Colorado Supreme Court and the Colorado Court of Appeals. Mr. Anderson has also practiced in the areas of bankruptcy, debtor-creditor relations, and foreclosures, and served as a Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustee in 1986-1987.
