John Hilkin

John Hilkin joined Sweetbaum Sands Anderson as an associate in June 2019. Since graduating from law school, Mr. Hilkin has worked primarily in civil litigation, focusing on personal injury defense, products liability, premises liability, and construction defect. Mr. Hilkin has taken civil cases to favorable verdict in federal and state court representing a variety of clients ranging from children to large scale corporate entities. Mr. Hilkin attended the University of Iowa for his undergraduate education, receiving a B.A. in Film Production and English. Mr. Hilkin obtained his J.D. from the Michigan State University College of Law in 2011. During law school Mr. Hilkin had the opportunity to intern with Ingham County (MI) judges and serve as the Editor-in-Chief of the Michigan State College of Law Journal of Animal Law.
