Thomas L. DeVine, Jr. is rated AV Preeminent ® by Martindale Hubbell, and is a Shareholder and member of the firm’s civil litigation group. Mr. DeVine’s practice focuses on representing clients in all types of commercial and real estate litigation, with an emphasis on representing real estate developers, general contractors, design professionals, and subcontractors in construction related disputes. Mr. DeVine’s practice is based upon extensive courtroom experience, representing clients and handling trials in Colorado State and Federal Courts, including appellate matters before the Colorado Court of Appeals, Colorado Supreme Court, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as handling private arbitration matters with the American Arbitration Association and the Judicial Arbiter Group. Mr. DeVine’s trial experience allows him to tailor each case towards a winning trial presentation. By handling each case in a cost-efficient manner with a focus on client attention and identifying early resolution opportunities, Mr. DeVine has achieved pre-trial settlements in immensely complicated lawsuits between even the most combative litigants. Mr. DeVine’s detailed understanding of each of his client’s goals and needs, combined with his work ethic and his highly professional relationships with opposing counsel, has earned him recognition as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in construction litigation each year since 2009, and an AV Preeminent ® rating in 2013, representing the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards.
